Most of the Knives were made years ago, before I started making Randall Mini, "Replicas". I recently purchased a new KMG 2" by 72" Belt Sander that cost as much as my first new car, a 1964 "Sport Fury", so at 83, I'm gonna wear it out! ;-0) I'm slowing down but have no plans to quit as long as I can find my way to the shop.
All the blades are 440C heat treated to 58 to 60. All the stag is Sambar Stag that I bought in the late 70's & 80's. There are no sheaths with any of the knives. All the blades are hand rubbed finish and, with the exception of a few, are flat ground. Stag of this quality and texture is very hard to get today because of an embargo placed on it many years ago.
